Updated: Mar 28, 2023

We want to help everyone read The Constitution on Constitution Day, or any day of the year in honor of the September 17th, 1787 signing of the U.S. Constitution.

Constitution Week activities are designed to help children of all ages to engage with The Constitution. What activities are available at Constitution Week?

  • Make your own pocket constitution

  • Use our activity book

    • Color while listening to the words of The Constitution

    • Take the tally challenge counting the words that built America

    • Complete The Constitution word search

    • Match the fact to a Founding Father

    • Write a thank you letter to a Founding Father

  • Read the American Ideals on the bookmark and discuss

  • Learn the topics of each Article 1-7

  • Memorize the Preamble or play remove a word

  • Learn the 5 Ideals or Founders sing-a-long song

We proudly promote the reading and understanding of this great document as a reminder that we are stronger together than we are divided. Have fun and share your ideas with our community!
